Is this a government website?
No. NorthAmericans.com is an independent guide. You apply through official government websites, and every page links to the ones it relies on.
Is this legal advice?
No. We explain how programs work. If your case is complex or risky, for example a past refusal, a criminal record or an overstay, talk to a licensed immigration lawyer. In Canada you can also use a regulated consultant (RCIC).
How do I know a program is still open?
Every program page has a status label (open, paused, closed or in court) and the date we last checked it. Recent changes are listed on the Status Now page for each country.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every guide and every tool is free, and you do not need to sign up.
Can I read it in my language?
The main guides are also in Spanish and French. Use the language menu at the top of any page.
