Express Entry September 2026 Draws: Healthcare, Physicians, CEC and Senior Managers

That is seven draws and 9,117 invitations in total. The six September draws alone issued 8,555 invitations.

IRCC has kept a steady pattern through the summer: a PNP draw, then a CEC draw, then one or more category draws. The last French-language draw before this period, on August 19, 2026, invited 5,000 candidates with a cutoff of 382.

• Health care workers with 12 months of experience in an eligible occupation had the biggest single draw.
• Physicians with Canadian work experience continue to see very low cutoffs, though the eligible group is small.
• CEC candidates needed about 520 points, which usually requires strong language scores and Canadian experience.
• Provincial nominees receive 600 extra points, which is why PNP cutoffs are around 700.
• Senior managers with Canadian experience in NOC 00012 to 00015 were invited at 389.

There were no STEM, education, trades, or researcher draws in this period, although those categories exist for 2026.

3. Raise your score with a French test, a better English result, or a provincial nomination through the PNP.
