These terms apply to your use of NorthAmericans.com, including its pages, tools and other content (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information, and our disclaimer explains the limits of what we publish.

The site provides general information about how immigration programs work. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for advice about your situation. We are not a law firm, not a licensed immigration consultant and not a government agency.

Immigration outcomes depend on individual facts, such as your history, your documents and the officer who decides your case. For advice, talk to a licensed immigration attorney in the US, a lawyer or regulated Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC) in Canada, or a licensed lawyer in Mexico. Reading the site, using our tools or emailing us does not create an attorney-client, consultant-client or other professional relationship with NorthAmericans.com or with anyone connected to it, including anyone who reviews our pages. Messages you send us are not confidential or privileged. Please do not send us confidential information about your case.

We research pages from official government sources, show the date each page was last verified and label program status. Drafts are produced with AI assistance and checked against official sources. Even so:

• Immigration laws, fees and procedures change often, sometimes without notice.
• Pages may contain errors or be out of date.
• Government offices may apply rules differently.
• Our calculators and tools give estimates based on published rules; they do not predict or decide any outcome.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it is complete, accurate, current or always available. If a page differs from an official government source, the official source controls. Check it before you pay a fee or file anything, and tell us about errors at contact@northamericans.com (subject Correction).

We link to government agencies and other sources so you can check information yourself. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Before entering personal information or paying a fee, check that you are on the official site: US government sites end in .gov, Canadian federal sites use canada.ca or gc.ca, and Mexican federal sites end in gob.mx. The text, design, graphics, logos and tools on the site belong to NorthAmericans.com or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Government materials we quote or link to belong to their owners. Government agency names are used only to identify those agencies and do not suggest any connection with or endorsement by them.

If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email us with details and we will review it.

The site is free, and you use it at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, NorthAmericans.com is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, including decisions about applications, fees, travel, jobs or investments.

Some places do not allow certain warranties or liability to be excluded or limited. In those places, the exclusions and limits above apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing in these terms limits any liability or right that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms, for example if we add new features. We will change the date at the top when we do. If we add services such as a way to contact licensed professionals, any extra terms will be shown before you use them. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
