BC ELSS (closed)The BC PNP Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS) stream let workers in certain lower-skilled (TEER 4 and 5) jobs, mostly in tourism, hospitality, food processing and long-haul trucking, get a B.C. nomination. B.C. issued its last ELSS invitations on December 10, 2024, officially closed the stream on April 23, 2026, and removed it from the program guide on May 28, 2026. The only TEER 5 route left in B.C. is a small, temporary initiative for health authority cleaners and security workers.BC Entrepreneur BaseThe BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Base stream is for experienced business owners and senior managers who want to start or buy a business in British Columbia and run it themselves. WelcomeBC lists a minimum personal net worth of $600,000, an investment of at least $200,000 and at least one new full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. You first come on a work permit, run the business, and are nominated for permanent residence only after you meet your performance agreement.BC Entrepreneur RegionalThe BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Regional stream helps experienced business owners start a business in a participating smaller B.C. community. WelcomeBC lists a minimum net worth of $300,000, an investment of at least $100,000 and at least one new full-time job, plus a mandatory exploratory visit and a referral from the community. Like the Base stream, you first come on a work permit and are nominated for permanent residence only after you meet your performance agreement.BC Health AuthorityThe BC PNP Health Authority stream is for people with a full-time, permanent job offer from a British Columbia public health authority. It is one of the two Skills Immigration streams B.C. kept in its April 2026 restructure, and health care is at the center of the province's 2026 priorities. A nomination lets you apply to IRCC for permanent residence, either through Express Entry or a separate federal application.BC International GraduateThe BC PNP International Graduate stream let recent graduates of Canadian colleges and universities get a B.C. nomination with a skilled job offer and no work experience. It is closed: CIC News reports it closed in November 2025, and B.C.'s April 23, 2026 restructure confirmed that no new student streams will launch. Graduates now need to qualify for the Skilled Worker or Health Authority stream, a federal program or another province's route.BC International Post-GraduateThe BC PNP International Post-Graduate stream let people with a recent master's or doctoral degree in the natural, applied or health sciences from an eligible B.C. institution apply for nomination without a job offer. It is closed: CIC News reports it closed in January 2025, and in April 2026 B.C. said no new student streams will launch. Master's and PhD graduates now need a job offer for the Skilled Worker or Health Authority stream, or a federal route such as Express Entry.BC PNP Tech (ended)BC PNP Tech was a set of fast, tech-only invitation rounds inside the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program for workers in a list of priority technology occupations. CIC News reports the last tech draw was held on December 3, 2024, and B.C.'s April 2026 restructure did not bring it back. Tech workers can still be nominated through the Skilled Worker stream, where B.C. sends high economic impact invitations across all sectors, including technology.BC Skilled WorkerThe BC PNP Skilled Worker stream lets you get a provincial nomination if you have a full-time, permanent job offer from a B.C. employer in a skilled (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3) occupation and at least two years of skilled work experience. It is one of only two Skills Immigration streams left after British Columbia's April 2026 restructure, and invitations now go mostly to priority occupations. A nomination lets you apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residence.BC Strategic ProjectsThe BC PNP Strategic Projects stream lets an established foreign company set up operations in British Columbia and bring up to five of its current employees as key staff. WelcomeBC lists a minimum equity investment of $500,000 in the company's B.C. operations and at least three new full-time jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents for each key staff member. Key staff come on work permits and can later be nominated for permanent residence.Express Entry BCExpress Entry BC (EEBC) is an option inside the BC PNP's Skilled Worker and Health Authority streams for people who also qualify for federal Express Entry. If B.C. nominates you through EEBC, you get 600 extra Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, which usually leads to a federal invitation to apply for permanent residence. You still need a qualifying B.C. job offer.Rural/Remote Health SupportThe Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative is a one-time BC PNP route for cleaners, janitors and security workers who are direct employees of a B.C. public health authority and work outside Metro Vancouver, Central Okanagan and the Capital Regional District. It accepts registrations from up to 250 candidates until 11:59 pm on October 7, 2026. You need nine consecutive months of full-time work for the health authority right before you register.
