Hire foreign workers in MexicoTo hire a foreign worker in Mexico, the employer first gets an employer registration (constancia de inscripción del empleador) from the National Migration Institute (INM), then asks INM to authorize a visa based on a job offer. Once INM approves, the worker gets the visa at a Mexican consulate abroad, enters Mexico, and exchanges it for a temporary resident card with permission to work within 30 days.
